Heather’s passion for animals began early, training her Shetland Sheepdogs in obedience and agility as a child and competing in junior dog competitions. Her love for animals expanded to include horses, where she gained years of experience in English dressage, show jumping, and western riding.

 

During her teenage years, Heather gained valuable grooming experience working at her mother’s grooming business and later in professional salons. Her expertise grew as she transitioned into dog daycare, managing dog socialization, structured play, and basic manners training for three years.

 

Her work with rescue dogs, including her own, Sox and Khleo, inspired her to focus on rehabilitating dogs with challenging temperaments and ensuring successful rehoming.

 

Certified in canine CPR and first aid, Heather also earned her Certified Canine Behavior & Training Specialist (CCDT-KA) accreditation through CATCH.

 

She is now proud to bring her skills and dedication to Totally Woof, working at both the new Chichester facility and the Nashua location, helping dogs and their families thrive through training and daycare services
